Certification
In New Brunswick, there are several certification boards that ensure organic produce meet specific standards. These organizations, using independant inspectors, verify the integrity of the organic production system, pemitting product to be labeled "Certified Organic". Growers participate in audit trails that track the inputs, raw materials and procedures used in the growing and processing of certified products.
